Lindy takes the mic this week as Mars and family travel to their next destination. What more perfect of a time than now to discuss Mindfulness. Lindy discusses how we spend a lot of time and energy living in our future wants or the past memories, and how mindfulness is the key to getting joy out of this moment, right now. Learn about the Dalai Lama concepts to help understand mindfulness through definitions of Suffering, Impermanence, Self, and Soul. Understanding that mindfulness is a state of being, not just something you practice. This week's mediation is Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, and is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. Get ready to be guided on tapping into the body, the breath, and deep relaxation.

What happens when your heart chakra is not open? How do you know if it’s blocked? And when it is, how can you open yourself to trust, love, and experience all the beauty in life? Thanks to listener requests, Lindy and Mars dedicate this final February episode to matters of the heart. They walk through signs that you might be blocked (spoiler alert, most of us are!) and then share five ways to open your heart to all the love the universe has for you. This week’s meditation is call Metta or Loving Kindness and is a beautiful way to heal yourself and the world.

The piano accompanying the meditation is Pianist, Kevin Wilder. Thank you Kevin for joining the movement to heal the world one meditation at a time.

Things are shifting and we have called it ALL to us. Lindy and Mars raise awareness around how we are feeling into things we are manifesting- the “good” or the “bad” we asked for it all. Emotional well-being is the key to shifting into your ultimate self and Lindy shares five ways to tap into this space. Mars is currently getting a mixed bag she is manifesting and Lindy talks about overcoming some body pain that was related to non-communicated emotions. Learn how to transform it all into what you want. This week listeners are introduced to another sound mantra called HU. Singing HU has been practiced for thousands of years in one form or another for inner attunement. In the same way a musician can use a tuning fork to find the right pitch, the person singing HU tunes in to a higher spiritual awareness. With your eyes closed, sing HU (pronounced like the word hue) as a song of love. You may notice a feeling of peace, warmth, and comfort. You may also recognize the presence of the Divine through greater spiritual insights into your daily life. (more on HU here: https://eckankar-vt.org/hu-chants)

Mars flies solo this week as Lindy recovers from the flu. She shares how she uses meditation to restore her health again and again. The episode starts with a reading from “A Year Without Fear” by Tama Kieves. Shifters learn how to experience
Shower Meditation, her Wellness Chant that replaces the “I’m going to get sick” thoughts, and a special guided meditation Mars and Lindy were trained with in India from one of their guides Dev Om of Rishikesh, India. This guided meditation is also very powerful when experienced under a full moon. (Note, this episode airs during the January Full Wolf moon/Super moon/Blood moon/Lunar eclipse).
